Black Voices of the Valley is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization fervently dedicated to amplifying the voices of black individuals and our youth within the Hemet/San Jacinto Valley and beyond.
Our mission is to effect tangible, enduring changes within our community. Through collaborative partnerships, grassroots initiatives, and dedicated advocacy, we tirelessly strive to dismantle barriers and forge pathways for advancement.

Who We Are
At Black Voices of the Valley (BVOV), we firmly believe in the inherent value of every youth. Our organization serves as a dynamic force for positive transformation within our community. Since our establishment in 2021, we have remained steadfast in our commitment to the fundamental principles that underpin our Non-Profit Organization: support, empowerment, and progress.
Our Mission
To amplify the voices of black and brown youth and their communities, ensuring that they are heard, valued, and respected. We are dedicated to creating a platform where black voices can flourish and contribute to meaningful change. Through advocacy, education, and community engagement, we strive to address systemic inequalities and foster a culture of equity.
What We Do
Each year, we provide vital funding to high school students, easing the financial burden of college tuition and ensuring that every young person has the opportunity to pursue higher education. Additionally, our annual youth event offers guidance and support to budding entrepreneurs, equipping them with the tools and mentorship needed to start their own businesses and succeed in the world of entrepreneurship. We also host a yearly backpack drive, ensuring that children in the Valley have the necessary supplies to excel in school and beyond. Through our unwavering commitment to our youth, we strive to cultivate a future where every child has the resources and support they need to thrive.
